Studio 102 || Multi-Light Fashion/Posing & Portraiture
RWP-ST102: You've got an understanding of off-camera lighting, radios, and basic portraiture (if not, check out Studio 101!) You've been shooting a lot of "Strobist setups" and single-light portraits. Now you're ready to kick it up a notch! We'll discuss the types of lights in a scene (key, fill, accent, rim, background, etc) and how to control/balance each. We'll cover "lighting ratios," techniques for creating flattering light and how to use the correct lensing for many different body/face types. You'll learn to build rapport with your model(s) as well as specific strategies for posing and directing them. As practice, you'll make a highly stylized fashion image of one of our staff models.
